IMBRe UUM conducts a workshop in Melbourne, Australia

On 23 March 2019, IMBRe UUM conducted a workshop on writing teaching cases and teaching notes at The International Conference on Education, Business and Social Science (ICONFEBSS) at Novotel Melbourne, Glen Waverly, Melbourne Australia. Dr Narentheren Kaliappen, a research fellow at IMBRe UUM, facilitated the workshop. This workshop aimed to help attendees to write teaching cases effectively, quickly and develop skills to create more enriching classroom environment.

In this workshop, Dr Narentheren explained about the importance of teaching case and teaching notes, the different types of teaching cases and the writing process of the teaching case and teaching notes. In addition, Dr Narentheren also highlighted the role of IMBRe UUM that is providing a platform for case research activities related to the field of business and management.

“This workshop was amazing and helped the attendees to gain new knowledge on writing teaching cases and teaching notes using templates” said Mr Anubhav Tewari, organizer of ICONFEBSS 2019. 15 scholars from Federation University Australia, Victoria University, University of South Australia, RMIT University Australia and others attended and provided positive feedback about this workshop.

This workshop provides IMBRe UUM the opportunity to help international scholars enhance their knowledge on writing teaching cases and teaching notes. Furthermore, this effort forged IMBRe UUM ahead towards international arena and built strong international research network in producing case study.
